Savage Arms unveils Mark II 'Classic'
November 21,
2006-Savage
Arms, legendary for out-of-the-box accuracy, introduces the latest to
its series of Mark II rimfire rifles-the new Mark II Classic. The Classic
features a stock crafted from American Walnut with a contrasting black
forend tip, finished in satin lacquer and featuring a traditional Monte
Carlo Comb with wrap around checkering. Similar in appearance to its
big brother, the Model 14/114, the Classic brings the look and feel
of a centerfire rifle to rimfire shooting.
The Mark II
Classic also features the revolutionary AccuTrigger , adjustable from
approximately 2 ½ to 6 lbs, allowing the shooter to easily adjust
the trigger pull to their own personal preferences without having to
pay a gunsmith to adjust it - a feature available exclusively from Savage
Arms.
All barreled
actions are polished to a deep rich, high luster blue and offer a level
of performance rarely found in a factory bolt action rifle at any price.
The Mark II offers target-grade rifle accuracy in a bolt action .22
repeater.
