Designed
in 1960, production started in 1961. Now, some nine million units later,
Mossberg is calling attention to what has been the best-selling, backbone
of their shotgun line in the form of an upgraded 50th Anniversary edition.

This
model features diamond pattern cut checkering on a high-gloss walnut stock
and forearm for a stylish look and an easy grip in the field.
The
spacer buttpad is a red buttpad with white spacer was featured on the
original Mossberg 500 models that rolled off the line in 1961. The announced
